    • ArbiterSports: Publishes your game schedules from the Assignor.

  • League vs Arbiter Schedules
    • Why games exist on both the League Schedule and the online Arbiter Schedule. While it may feel like duplicating work, these two systems serve entirely different administrative functions:

  • The league schedule
    • Managed By: League Administrators

    • Purpose: Serves as the master blueprint for defining matchups, division alignments, and primary dates.

    • Scope: Encompasses schedule changes, standings, regular season, and playoff brackets.

  • The Arbiter Schedule
    • Managed By: Ace 5on5 Sports

    • Purpose: Serves as the online platform to deploy officials to scheduled games.

  • the workflow shift
    • Once the initial league schedule is aligned, approved, and imported, a critical operational shift occurs:

    • The League Schedule becomes a locked "draft" calendar, used strictly by your league for adjustments. Assignors are not monitoring League Schedules.

    • The Arbiter Schedule becomes the live schedule where referees are assigned. It remains fully visible to A/D's for monitoring, but can only be modified by the assignors. A/D's are fiscally responsible for referee game fees listed on Arbiter.

  • WHY ONE CANT DO BOTH JOBS
    • The Staffing Funnel: A game listed on the league schedule is simply a calendar event, not a request for officials. That event only transforms into a staffed contest once Arbiter imports the data and generates a unique, communicated Arbiter Game Number.

  • THE GOLDEN RULE
    • The Core Principle: The League Schedule creates the logistical demand; the Arbiter Schedule manages the labor supply.

    • A/D Responsibility: A/D's should continuously ensure Arbiter is correct to maintain financial accountability.

    • The Audit Trail: Every modification in Arbiter is precisely time-stamped. Automated algorithms continuously run in the background, creating a permanent, unalterable audit trail and history for all games.

  • PURPOSE
    • This handbook serves as a streamlined, user-friendly hub for all Ace 5on5 referee assigning procedures and guidelines. Ace 5on5 created this guide exclusively for its referee staffing platform.
