This section of info for will only be posted today so please print or screenshot. The seasonal reminders below will always be available.

ASSIGNMENTS/ARBITER:

- Games are published on Arbiter that require you to "accept" online.

- Arbiter displays your court #, ref crew, # of games/address, etc.

- Arbiter times are NOT actual games times but refs/SK's must arrive at the time listed on Arbiter.

- Games are :55 apart | Follow your schedules on the scoresheets vice Arbiter.

EREENY & KELSEY

- You are now both on Arbiter. I'll get you both familiar.

- Please upload a professional (jpeg) picture of yourself on Arbiter.

UPON ARRIVAL

- Stop @ the info desk; A city worker will provide scoresheets, teams & ACTUAL game times.

GAME FEES

- Collect before tip-off | Pay refs on their last game.

- SK's collect $35 from each team | $70 Total

- SK's get $12 per Game | Refs get $28 P/G.

- Sounds quirky but do the math: $12 + $28 + $28 = $68

- So $2 is leftover (assigning fee)

- I collect that $2 monthly and pay SK's forfeits all at the same time via Venmo/Zelle.

RULES: CLICK HERE

SCORESHEETS

FULL NAMES are required on the front & back of the scoresheet. Players in question can be easily identified with their full names. Names & Signatures are important for eligibility & liability.

TECHNICALS & EJECTIONS: Be sure to annotate the timing of the Technical Foul or Ejection.

The league cares to know at what point did the incident take place.

EARLY GAME TIMES

Games may not start early unless BOTH team captains initial the scoresheet next to their respective names.

Doing so validates (when teams complain to the office) that teams agreed to begin early.

Any SK who improperly starts a game early will reimburse each team $5.

WORK ATTIRE

Approved work attire: Sneakers, Shorts, T-Shirts, Jeans, Jackets.

Unapproved work attire: Sleeveless Tanks, Sandals, Risqué Shorts/Shirts, Baggy Clothing.

CALLED GAMES

At the end of games, and the score differential is lopsided, only players from the losing team can “call” or end a game to end. SK’s are required to annotate (on the scoresheet), the number of the player who called the “game over”. This serves as verification the right team ok’d the game to end.

PLAYER IDENTIFICATION

Player participation is 18 & older . If you suspect a player is a minor, SK’s have the right to request ID for age verification. If the player does not present a valid photo ID (Drivers License, Passport, State issued ID), that player is ineligible to play even though they “forgot their ID” or have been asked to present ID earlier in the season. Allow the City of Orange staff to get involved if necessary to verify ID.

CELL PHONES ARE NOT PERMITTED

For talk/text or watching sports during game time, unless you are communicating with the assignor.

Common sense & judgement should prevail.

URGENT REMINDERS

Week #1 July 19

Message from The City of Orange

1. Several score-sheets only have the first name of players on both the front and back sides.

2. Additionally, several score-sheets are missing signatures on the back and/or the # of players signed in on the front do not match.

3. Lastly, there is no final score listed on these scoresheets.

Collectively, we are a bit rusty from Covid.  I understand. Let's get back on our P's & Q's please. Signatures are important for eligibility & liability.

-Everyone confirm you've read this info-
